Morcheeba Tour Dates Announced
Morcheeba will tour in support of their summer release Blood Like Lemonade.
Of the latest release Paul Godfried was quoted as saying "This is the record we should have made after "Big Calm" but we had to travel treacherous terrains to get back to our natural habitat.' Skye adds: 'Friends have been asking, "What does the new Morcheeba record sound like?" My answer? "It sounds like Morcheeba."
The song tells the tale of an ex-priest vampire bounty hunter, who
goes around seeking revenge on bad guys and bandits, whose blood he drinks like lemonade. The video was directed by Joshua Leonard (Blair Witch Project, Bones, Numb3rs, CSI Miami) and stars Robert Forster (Jackie Brown, Heroes).

Press and bio spiel:
Lady Lazarus (Savannah, Ga.) is the solo music project of Melissa Ann Sweat, a poet, writer, almost-journalist, almost-film student at Werner Herzog's Rogue School, and fine artist originally from San Jose, Calif. Melissa began her project in 2008 when she started teaching herself keyboard, and writing and recording songs in her San Francisco studio apartment. She has been an artist and writer nearly all her life and credits her fluidity in picking up songwriting to her long-time interest in writing poetry.
Shortly after Melissa began writing songs, she decided to pursue her creative interests as much as she could - she quit her job and took a train trip across the country (writing a novella in the process), then began working again part-time and writing and recording songs in her free time. Despite her very new foray into music, Lady Lazarus has been receiving some impressive local and national attention. Pitchfork recently review the Mantic track, "The Eye in the Eye of the Storm," writing "fans of shadowy dream-pop will be pleased to discover San Jose's Lady Lazarus... Her voice is lovely, and nothing is over-or undersold... [The music] makes this moment of uncanny stillness a shelter you want to stay inside. It's really slight, and more than ample."
This summer Lady Lazarus played Left Coast Live, a week long music festival in San Jose with Yo La Tengo headlining, and embarked on a small Western U.S. tour, the highlight of which was playing with A Hawk and a Hacksaw at The Process in Santa Fe. In mid-October, Melissa moved from her hometown of San Jose, Calif. to Savannah, Ga. where she is continuing to pursue her music, poetry, and fine art while exploring and being inspired by the region.

Jack White Continues To Be The Willy Wonka Of Music
And he issues either a funny joke or a "hair record" which surpasses the absurdity of a record I once saw that came in a sandpaper sleeve.
