Robert Francis Tour Dates

Robert Francis' new release Before Nightfall will be available digitally on September 22nd, and in stores October 20th. What's with the irritating new trend of multiple release dates? Stop it labels - it's not cute.

The album was produced by D. Sardy (Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Marilyn Manson,) about whom Francis states “(he has been)helping me come into my own with my voice. Sardy helped me sing out and make the vocals as raw and intense as possible. He was not the guy who was going to spend three hours on some crazy synth sound. He was the guy who said, ‘Let’s do this — but just you guys. Let’s make an old-school rock record.”

"In Stingray Sam, Cory McAbee's second sci-fi musical featuring music by McAbee's band The Billy Nayer Show, David Hyde Pierce narrates the story that begins with a dangerous mission that reunites Stingray Sam with his long lost accomplice, The Quasar Kid. The story follows these two space convicts as they earn their freedom in exchange for the rescue of a young girl who is being held captive by the genetically designed figurehead of a very wealthy planet.

Written and directed by McAbee and produced by Bobby Lurie and Becky Glupczynski, Stingray Sam is a feature length film divided into six episodes that combines live action, graphic collages and illustrations, photo montages and animation to tell a story of the future, based on themes of modern times. Created for the new advancements in technology, with an old-fashioned sensibility borrowing on the traditions of sci-fi, westerns, signing cowboy serials and musicals of classic American film, Stingray Sam is impressing audiences around the globe. Stingray Sam premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival."
