Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Tiny Desk Concert
Admittedly not a big fan of a lot of current rap (or superfluous use of either the "n word" or "uh" mid flow), I have to say there are some serious grooves here in this collaborative effort for the Freddie Gibbs and Madlib NPR Tiny Desk Concert. Leon Michels and members of the (always cool) Dap Kings and El Michels Affair:
Marco Benevento, Nick Movshon and Homer Steinweiss largely contribute to my thumbs up opinion.
