Broken Social Scene and a Cavalcade of Guests

Broken Social Scene are set to release a new album May 4, but they still haven't revealed the title. But sources reveal it's chock full of special guests including:
The Sea and Cake's Sam Prekop, Tortoise's Doug McCombs, Pavement's Spiral Stairs, Poi Dog Pondering's Susan Bells, Helen Money's Alison Chesley and The Weakerthans' Jason Tait, Amy Millan and Evan Cranley of Stars, Emily Haines and Jimmy Shaw of Metric, and more. Phew.

The album was co-produced by BSS and John McEntire (Tortoise) at Soma Studios in Chicago, and in Toronto studios Giant Studio and The Schvitz Studio.
