Fools Gold

Los Angeles music collective Fools Gold are set to release their eponymous debut via IAMSOUND on September 29.

(Personally, I don't think they sound a whit like Adam, but I do hear a tiny Bow Wow Wow similarity). The music is more world beat, and less new wave pirate/highwayman/dandy with a bump n' grind.
