Ólöf Arnalds has just finished recording her second album, produced by Kjartan Sveinsson (Sigur Rós). She will be the support act for Blonde Redhead at Celebrate Brooklyn (Prospect Park Bandshell), June 26th.

“....mesmerizing performance by Ólöf Arnalds...alternated between acoustic guitar, a smaller toy acoustic guitar, and an even smaller 8-string ukulele. On stage, she was witty and full of banter as she gave background tidbits on songs she sang in her native Icelandic, with an emotive, swooping voice that rang clear on the high notes. The apex of the night was the Hank Williams cover that elicited a rousing approval from the enraptured crowd.
