R.I.P. Koko Taylor

Blues legend Koko Taylor, best known for her classic hit "Wang Dang Doodle" (Dixon) has died at age 80 according to a rep at Alligator Records. She passed away in Chicago following intestinal surgery. Taylor, who appeared in David Lynch's film Wild At Heart, was said to have come to Chicago with "thirty-five cents and a box of Ritz Crackers."
