The Big Pink

The Big Pink (Robbie Furze and Milo Cordell) are old friends "in love with digital hardcore and the narcotic effects of blessed out electronic music." Their debut album, A Brief History Of Love, will be available September 22nd on 4AD.


Milo Cordell (son of 1960s pop producer Denny Cordell) runs the Merok label, which has released Klaxons and blogger favorites Crystal Castles. Robbie Furze is the former guitarist for Alec Empire. Daniel O'Sullivan from Guapo and SunnO, electronic artiste Jo Apps from the Planet Mu label, drummer Akiko Matsuura of Pre and Comanechi, and Al O'Connell (producer/engineer for The Rapture and Klaxons) round out the live band.
